About the event

Join Thalia Kehoe Rowden from the Human Rights Measurement Initiative for a deep dive on HRMI's brand-new human rights scores for every country in the world.

HRMI releases an annual update every June, and this is your opportunity to see the new scores, ask questions, and explore how to use human rights metrics in your work.

HRMI is a small, global NGO headquartered in Aotearoa, tracking the human rights progress of countries. Their data are published and freely available for non-commercial use at RightsTracker.org. Many change-makers worldwide use HRMI data for advocacy, strategic planning, reporting, fundraising, monitoring, and media engagement.

Thalia Kehoe Rowden is Co-Executive Director of the Human Rights Measurement Initiative, where she is proud to lead an international, non-traditional team characterised by kindness and trust. She holds a BA in Linguistics and an LLB(Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington, where she had a particular focus on international human rights law. After further study in Applied Theology at Carey Baptist College in Auckland, she worked as a Baptist minister in New Plymouth; with Partners Relief & Development in South East Asia; and at the Wellington Community Law Centre; before joining HRMI in 2018.
